Which camping ground should I use at Mt. Rainier National Park?

I was leaning towards the White River Campground. Any big objections? My friends and I (young adult girls) just want to stay for a night or two while we see the sights at Mt.Rainier. Also any other suggestions for just general camping? (what to bring, not to bring, what to eat, what to do).
