I'm having a problem with my desk; the holes in the leg of my desk are too big for the nails to screw in?

Basically, due to me sliding my desk so much across my room (as opposed to simply picking it up), the nail holes that connect the base with the leg have gotten way too big to tightly secure the nails, so every time I pick up my desk, the leg simply detaches and falls down. Is there an adhesive or "filler" i can put into the hole to make it stick again?
