Why the news been bombarded with Pelosi Murtha battle and 1 second about Trent Lott being back in lead?

Maybe it's because the brouhaha between the two liberals is more newsworthy than a former Republican leader returning to a leadership role. Face it, Lott should never have been removed for pointing out that Strom Thurmond was a legend in Congress, because he was a legend. Not a particularly good one, but a legend none the less if for no other reason than his seniority. If someone is going to be villified for supporting unsavory characters why have none of the Democrats who support Robert (KKK) Byrd or the admitted pedophile Gerry Studds been demoted or removed? Now you have a Democrat who was impeached and removed as a Federal Judge because he was openly soliciting bribes, and Pelosi want's to make him chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. Pelosi should not be allowed to become Speaker of the House.
