How to get rid of shyness to meet girls?

well im 16 and im super shy. I was at a campground and we brought couple families and then those families brought other families. So i saw this really amazing girl. She was playing badminton just tossing around with a mom. I really wanted to get to know her but i dont know. just too shy. There was over 20 people sitting around on the benches and idk. going up to her, i just cant do it.
